What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with other departments to create and maintain processes to properly account for respective areas on the balance sheet
- Ensure sufficient controls are in place with respect to these areas
- Compile journal entries monthly and maintain a two-day close
- Analyze accounts monthly through balance sheet reconciliation process.
- Support internal and external auditors on audit requests
- Prepare and Distribute Preliminary and Final Physical Inventory (PI) Results for US Retail Stores
- Review Monthly Shrink Reserves for Accuracy and Completeness
- Forecast Recovery/Loss relating to PI Results
- Partner with Loss Prevention on PI Scheduling, PI Field Review and Researching Anomalies
- Ensure the accuracy of US Retail/DC Inventory through Service Now Tickets
- Support External Auditors during PI Audits and testing SOX Controls

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of related work experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Prior Inventory/Shrink Experience
