What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute annual marketing and communication plans for customer programs.
  • Lead email marketing and lead-nurture/conversion campaigns using Marketo, including enhancing functionality in collaboration with the SPP US team.
  • Analyze program performance data to refine strategies and drive success.
  • Conduct in-depth brand analysis to craft tailored marketing strategies.
  • Support Business Development through customer case studies and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Manage e-blasts, e-store promotions, and printed flyers, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Oversee core customer marketing executions like print catalogues, sponsorships, and event support.
  • Create Statements of Work (SOWs) and guide agency-style deliverables for customers.
  • Manage media budgets and adhere to financial guidelines.
  • Produce webcasts, presentations, and talk tracks for customer and vendor initiatives.
  • Ensure all communications align with marketing strategies, brand standards, and compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with US and UK divisions to share assets and ideas within the Canadian organization.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Strong communication and marketing expertise, particularly in communication strategies and creative direction.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and business-focused communication.
  • Skilled in writing tactical communication plans and materials.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations impacting marketing communications.
  • Ability to present and pitch ideas convincingly.
  • Proven capacity to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for influencing and negotiating across diverse teams and levels.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect projects and identify opportunities.
  • Experience with website development and maintenance.
  • Bilingual proficiency (French/English) is a plus.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a B2B Marketing Communications role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage interactions with multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Google Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business Administration.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations impacting marketing communications.
  • Talent for building relationships and fostering collaboration with business partners to achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
