As a Sr Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping an inclusive, innovative, and high-performing culture at Staples. What you will be doing:

- Deploy enterprise learning solutions to drive knowledge transfer and measurable business impact.

- Partner with Talent Advisors and the Talent Center of Excellence to design tools for developing high-potential talent, including stretch assignments, classroom learning, and project team participation.

- Facilitate engaging training sessions and provide programmatic support such as scheduling, tracking nominations, and basic reporting.

- Lead onboarding programs to ensure new employees are set up for success.

- Support team effectiveness strategies by facilitating meetings and workshops tailored to diverse teams and priorities.

- Track key metrics and business performance, providing actionable feedback to management.

What You Bring to the Table:

You are comfortable with public speaking and possess high emotional intelligence, allowing you to connect with a wide range of personalities. You thrive in dynamic environments, manage multiple priorities independently, and value collaboration across all business units. Your proactive mindset, creativity in problem-solving, and strong facilitation and coaching skills set you apart.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in a Learning and Development position

- Strong project management abilities

- Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration

- Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent post-secondary education

- Experience in deploying enterprise learning solutions and supporting high-potential talent development

- Successful track record in managing priorities with minimal supervision
