What you will be doing:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3rd Party Operations Manager to join our team. The Delivery Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's 3rd party delivery operations. This includes documenting customer SLA’s and delivery requirements, developing account specific KPI’s, influencing and partnering with the Staples delivery team to implement SOP’s and drive process compliance.  Ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods, ongoing KPI’s management, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Define customer service level expectations and delivery requirements
  • Develop internal performance and quality metrics for each customer account
  • Ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to end customers
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving delivery issues
  • Coordinate with and influencing other departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Provide training and support to delivery personnel

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer facing account management in addition to logistics operations management
  • Knowledge of transportation systems and processes
  • Ability to manage external customers and deliver on contracted SLA’s
