The Data Analyst role within the Sales Operations team is designed to support our project managers as well as our sales organization, with sales and market analysis. In this role you will work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and ensure we have detailed and accurate reporting and actionable analytics using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake, Excel and SQL. You will also be responsible for supporting the project managers in analyzing sales metrics, establishing actionable sales targets and delivering lead deployments to our business development teams. You will have the skill set to combine data sets across multiple data sources and deliver solutions in a useful and appealing manner to the end users, in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends and correlations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support project managers and the sales organization with sales and market analysis.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to ensure detailed and accurate reporting and actionable analytics using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake, Excel, and SQL.
- Analyze sales metrics, establish actionable sales targets, and deliver lead deployments to business development teams.
- Combine data sets from multiple sources to deliver solutions that are universally understandable and easy to interpret.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify changes in KPIs and key drivers within the business.
- Provide insights and recommendations to inform decisions across the organization.
- Build models to forecast outcomes related to changes within the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvement in customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.
What you bring to the table:
- Strong analytical skills within SQL and Excel to support business decisions driving revenue and profitability.
- Proficiency in creating visually engaging reports and dashboards that are easy to interpret.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into business-relevant insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring high levels of data accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks autonomously.
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, IT, mathematics, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within sales operations or a related field.
- 1+ years proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- 1+ years' experience with SQL.
- Skills in statistical analysis.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ecommerce best practices.
- Experience with Cloud-based larger data repositories (i.e. Snowflake)
- Exposure to working with data from CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce)
