What you will be doing:
As a Rep I Accounts Receivable at Staples Finance, you’ll play a key role in supporting our billing and accounting functions. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of Staples Gift Cards—including ordering, activation, fulfillment, and devaluation—while resolving customer disputes promptly. Your day will include scanning and validating critical documents for PCI support, researching and processing credit card chargebacks, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing disputes and invoice delivery issues. You’ll be empowered to contact customers regarding past-due accounts, develop root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues, and ensure service level agreements are consistently met. You’ll also assist with special projects, all while maintaining confidentiality and upholding company procedures.

You are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a goal-driven environment. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills help you stay on top of tasks. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities make you a valued team member, while your problem-solving skills and drive for results allow you to quickly resolve customer concerns and support business solutions. You’ll be working under direct supervision, gaining valuable experience and developing your expertise in accounts receivable.
What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 0-2 years of relevant experience; you’ll handle basic issues and elevate complex matters to senior staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company procedures
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at multitasking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or billing environments
- Demonstrated success in customer service roles
- Drive to learn and grow within a supportive team setting
