This intern position requires you to be in a hybrid working model (at least 3 days in the office, and 2 days remote) based at the Staples, Inc. Corporate Headquarters in Framingham, MA. 

Target Start Date: June 2, 2025 - August 15, 2025 (11-week program)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain front-end components using React.js. 
  • Assist in building and integrating backend APIs using Node.js.  
  • Collaborate with the design and development teams to implement user-friendly UI/UX 
  • Debug and optimize code for performance and scalability 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 
  • Familiarity with React.js and its core principles 
  • Understanding of Node.js and RESTful API integration 
  • Eager to learn, with a passion for web development and UI design 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with version control systems like Git 
  • Basic understanding of state management libraries (Redux, Context API) 
  • Knowledge of front-end build tools like Webpack or Babel 
  • Exposure to databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL) and server-side development
